Do I need to have a floor plan selected before reaching out?
Not at all. Many of our clients come to us with just a general idea of what they want. We are happy to walk you through our available floor plans, including our featured Lander design, and help you determine what fits your lifestyle and budget best.
Can I work with my own buyer's agent?
Yes. SJI Homes LLC welcomes buyer's agents and is happy to work within that relationship. Please indicate on your inquiry form whether you are currently working with an agent so we can coordinate appropriately from the start.
What areas do you build in?
We currently build throughout Colorado Springs, including Briargate, Powers Corridor, Northgate, Old Colorado City, and Black Forest, as well as in Monument, Colorado. These are our primary markets, though we occasionally take projects in the greater Front Range area including Castle Rock, Castle Pines, and Littleton when the right opportunity arises.
How long does a typical build take?
Build timelines vary depending on the size and complexity of the home, local permitting, and seasonal factors. We provide detailed project timelines at the start of every engagement and keep clients informed throughout the process. Reach out and we can give you a clearer estimate based on your specific plans.
What does the ADU option on the Lander plan include?
The Lander floor plan includes an attached 696 sq ft Accessory Dwelling Unit with its own kitchen and living area, two bedrooms, a full bath, and in-unit washer and dryer. It is ideal for multi-generational living or as a long-term rental to offset your mortgage. Visit the Floor Plans page for full details.
Do you work on Sundays?
No. Sunday is a day for family and worship, and we hold that firmly. Jacob is not available on Sundays, our office is closed, and none of our trades will work on our sites on Sundays. We believe in keeping that day available for what matters most. We are happy to connect with you Monday through Saturday.
